Restoring

Create in me a pure heart O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.  Psalm 51:1-12

-Perhaps you need a place to lie down-where God can lead you beside still waters and restore your soul. A place where a table is prepared for you and you will be anointed and prayed over might be a welcome relief.

-Maybe your soul is anxious and you are walking in fear. You need a place to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him, so that in your day of trouble you will once again find safety in God’s dwelling; a place of shelter to hide and heal.

-It’s possible that ministry has taken a toll on your marriage and or family. You need a place to receive counsel, prayer and encouragement. You need time to relax with the people you love and to repair relationships and grow together.

-Maybe you are angry and your view of God’s people is defined by discouragement and disappointment. You have grown weary in doing good. You might need a place to remember the height from which you have fallen.   A place of understanding, with the ultimate goal being a return to the place where you first experienced God’s love for you and your love for God.
